Meet our Instructors

Greg Parrott

Hi! I’m Greg Parrott. I am a Crisis Deputy, firearms instructor and assistant commander and training coordinator of a regional SWAT team in Central Texas. I have a Master Peace Officer certification and have been in law enforcement for 34 years. I also serve my community as a city council member.
I am the owner and senior instructor of Guardian Angel Tactics, LLC.

Southland ISD was the second school in Texas to establish a Guardian Program (September 12, 2011), and has  a solid background and knowledge of the program. Toby is the Superintendent at Southland ISD. He has 29 years in public education as an Ag teacher, Principal and Superintendent. Southland ISD was the second school in Texas to establish a Guardian Program (September 12, 2011), and has  a solid background and knowledge of the program. Toby is a Texas DPS Certified - LTC instructor, School Safety instructor, and First Responder instructor. He is also an NRA Certified Instructor in Basic Pistol and Refuses to Be a Victim.

Officer Kristi Wuensche has been in Law Enforcement for 6 years and has her Advanced Peace Officer Certification. She is currently starting in her 2nd year as a School Based Law Enforcement Officer at Lubbock-Cooper ISD. Kristi has a BA in Russian Language Area Studies, A black belt in Krav Maga, and is the owner of 10-10 Defense, LLC; a 

Officer Kristi Wuensche has been in Law Enforcement for 6 years and has her Advanced Peace Officer Certification. She is currently starting in her 2nd year as a School Based Law Enforcement Officer at Lubbock-Cooper ISD. Kristi is also a certified Taser Energy Weapon Instructor and ASP Instructor Trainer.

Noe is a Patrol Sergeant with the Brownwood Police Department and has 14 years of Law Enforcement experience with a Master Peace Officer Certification. He is a TCOLE Instructor with numerous certifications in data-driven methodologies such as solo/team tactics response to an active shooter, reality-based training, and less lethal munition

Noe is a Patrol Sergeant with the Brownwood Police Department and has 14 years of Law Enforcement experience with a Master Peace Officer Certification. He is a TCOLE Instructor with numerous certifications in data-driven methodologies such as solo/team tactics response to an active shooter, reality-based training, and less lethal munitions/ distraction devices. Noe has also served on the Brown County SWAT Team since 2017 and is currently serving as the Assistant Team Commander and Instructor.

He is a Less Lethal and Distraction Device Instructor. He is also a member of the TTPOA ( Texas Tactical Police Officers Association) and NTOA (National Tactical Officers Association.)

James Kidd

Ian is a Corporal with the Brownwood Police Department, Patrol Division, with 12 years of Law Enforcement experience. Ian has been a member of the Brown County SWAT Team since 2017. He is a Certified SWAT Sniper. Ian is also a member of the TMPA, TTPOA, and a current board member for the Brownwood Municipal Police Association.

James Kidd is the Chief of Police of the Keene Police Department, and has 27 years of Law Enforcement experience. James is a graduate of the FBI National Law Enforcement Academy #281.He is also a FBI LEEDA graduate. James has his Master's Degree in Law Enforcement Leadership from the University of San Diego. He is currently an active member of the IACP and TPCA.
